Hey there, I’m Trisha McAda! I absolutely love working with children, adolescents, families, and couples. I have experience in therapy and years of teaching and volunteering in children’s and youth ministry.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master’s degree from Abilene Christian University in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in children and adolescents, after completing my Bachelor’s in Multidisciplinary Studies at Texas Tech University in 1997.

In my practice, I employ a range of therapy approaches, focusing on Solution-Focused Therapy. I firmly believe in my clients’ inherent power and knowledge to resolve their own issues. My role is to facilitate this process, drawing on their strengths and knowledge. I also integrate other therapy models, such as Structural, Gottoman, EFT, and Experiential Therapy, into my practice.

It is a privilege to work with families, couples, and individuals to navigate daily life struggles. I recognize that every client has a unique story, and the most important part of my job is to listen and learn about each person’s heart and desires.

When working with children and adolescents, I incorporate play therapy, children’s play, books, and, for adolescents, games like Connect Four and Uno Cards, as well as art therapy techniques. My goal is to meet each client where they are and help them in a safe and comfortable setting.
